Working with a faulty chart
I'd like some advice on how to handle this:
I had a consultation with a client who gave me her birth information over the phone. When I met her she brought along an old chart she had cast about twenty five years ago. She told me the time on the phone as being "a.m." but on the old chart it was "p.m." Instead of using the old chart (which was hand written) I thought that a twelve hour difference could be account for by simply turning my chart upside down. This put the current Pluto transit right on her 7th house cusp.
When she inquired about relationships I interpreted this Pluto transit as anyone would and she went on to tell me that she recently asked her husband for a divorce. This confirmed what I saw and while she was happy about the divorce she was also happy that the chart somehow confirmed how she felt. After the consultation I told her I would email her an updated chart.
Well, I just ran the chart on my computer and it's different than the one I simply turned upside down! Obviously the planets are at the same degrees and have the same aspects, but the Ascendent/Descendent are different! Instead of the Dec. being 28 Sag it's 20 Capricorn. So now I need to email her the updated chart like I told her I would but she'll see it matches her original chart and not the one I used yesterday (the upside down one).
Should I just email the chart and not say anything, or should I try to explain my mistake? The relationship stuff can be justified still since Pluto is going in to the ruler of her 7th, if not the 7th itself.Any advice is appreciated!
